Responsible for leading the Information Services Business Delivery team responsible for delivering strategic technology enablement programs into EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and for working closely with information services teams located in Japan and Taiwan.
Rachel led a team of PM’s and BA’s and was responsible for the effective delivery of projects and business solutions to internal business stakeholders. This included the delivery of new systems and tools to support operations, the sales and marketing and order management teams. Rachel worked closely with senior stakeholders throughout Europe, America and Asia and developed processes and systems to enhance the delivery of these projects. During this short time Rachel was able to re-engage individuals by creating a strong team environment through coaching, training and performance management. Stakeholder satisfaction and the user experience across the new technology which was also enhanced.
Provided direct line management and coaching to nine project managers and business analysts.
Established PMO principles and fit for purpose project methodologies, processes and working models. Led corporate governance for all project related elements across EMEA.
A light touch BA Practice was established based on the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) Guidance. Templates, tools and techniques were developed to support consistent and effective requirements gathering.
Supported key business stakeholders and remote delivery teams to plan and execute projects under the I.S. (Information Services) global organisation.
Guided the implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) suite, an Online Renewals Tool and over 30 other technology initiatives.
Establishment of a Competency Framework for PM and BA Resources. This involved reviewing role profiles, completing a skills gap analysis for all resources and then delivering a People Management and Training strategy to bridge identified gaps.
